PAYROLL PROCEDURES

Salaries for professional personnel shall be paid according to the salary schedule established by the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education plus added increments established by the Assumption Parish School Board.  All other employees shall be paid according to a salary schedule formulated by the School Board.

The pay period for regular employees shall be the 1st day of each calendar month to the last day of the calendar month.  The payday for regular employees shall be the 25th day of each calendar month or the last working day of the calendar month.  For twelve-month employees to be paid in accordance with method of payment for regular employees, they must have a sufficient amount of accumulated sick and/or vacation time for the duration of the calendar month.  All employees shall receive paychecks through direct deposit.
