STUDENT TRANSPORTATION INSURANCE PROGRAM

Each bus operator, ten (10) days prior to the commencement of each school year, shall provide the supervisor of transportation with a copy of his insurance policy covering a full year and a paid receipt for the policy.  Failure to comply with this regulation will result in suspension without pay of the bus driver until such time as the regulation is complied with.

Each policy must provide at least the minimum coverage required by law for bodily injury liability and property damage.

The Assumption Parish School Board pays the liability insurance premium on all public school buses transporting children in Assumption Parish.
