HOLIDAYS

The Assumption Parish School Board shall establish the holiday schedule for all personnel in addition to those included in the adoption of a school calendar.  Whenever a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the School Board may declare that the holiday be observed on the preceding Friday or following Monday, respectively.

The first Tuesday after the first Monday in November in even-numbered years shall also be designated as a holiday if a polling place has been established at any public school in the district.
