EQUAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

 

 

It is the policy of the Assumption Parish School Board that no person in this school district, on the basis of a disability, or of race, color, creed, religion, sex, age, national origin, or natural, protective, or cultural hairstyle, shall be excluded from participation in or be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination in, any education program or activity.

 

The Superintendent shall designate a member of the staff to investigate any and all complaints which may be brought against the district in regard to any alleged discriminatory action.  The name, address, and telephone number of the designee shall be publicized accordingly.  Grievance procedures shall be promulgated to support the intent of this policy.
