STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT
The Assumption Parish School Board expects students to conduct themselves in an orderly manner. The School Board also recognizes the necessity for reasonable control and discipline over the conduct of students under its jurisdiction. As prescribed by law, every teacher is authorized to hold every student to a strict accountability for any disorderly conduct in school or on the playground of the school or on any street, road, or school bus going to or returning from school, and during intermissions or recesses. A list of disciplinary offenses and consequences for violations shall be as published in the Assumption Parish School System Student Code of Conduct.
It is the responsibility of the principal/designee to maintain discipline at each school, on school grounds, or at any school-sponsored function.
